Craft The Reykjavik Art Museum in Iceland 2009
The artist seeks inspiration from haute couture and mixes traditional dressmaking with her signature pencil-drawings.
The dress is made out of a "fabric" designed by Andrea, which is her signature pencil drawings on pattern cutting paper. The fabric and the dress took about 200 hours to make or a similar amount of time that takes to make a haute couture piece.
For this occasion Maack presented her second line of perfume, filling the exhibition space with the scent through the course of the show, distributing only 200 samples.
